I am an MRC funded PhD student in Professor James Rowes Lab working at the MRC-Cognition and Brain Sciences unit. My PhD investigates symptoms of apathy and disinhibition in Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) using Magnetoencephalography (MEG) and synaptic Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging modalities to understand the neural correlates of these disorders.With a background in structural neuroimaging, I am interested in the study of neuropathology, neuroimaging biomarkers and clinical features of neurodegenerative diseases, and I have a particular interest in frontotemporal degeneration (FTD) and progressive supranuclear palsy.
